Executive Director's Annual Report
To say that last year was a year of dramatic change for CARING for Children would certainly be an understatement. Changes in mental health rules meant that we had to close one program. We were, however, able to help save two other programs from closing.
On June 30, 2010, CARING for Children officially closed CrossRoads, our day treatment and alternative school program. In the end, we closed CrossRoads because we could not meet the ever changing, ever more costly, and ever more restrictive State mandated requirements. Report Continued...
