CARING for Children, Inc.
Angels Watch Foster Care
Angels Watch is a foster care program that provides temporary crisis and/or respite care for children. There are two types of services provided in Angels Watch:
1. Children who are age 0-6 (with siblings up to age 10) who are not in the custody of the Department of Social Services and whose families are temporarily unable to care for them because of a crisis are eligible for the program. Children are placed in licensed Angel Care homes for up to 90 days while the family attempts to resolve the problems. Parents are provided mentoring and links to community resources by Angel Care staff and foster parents. No fees are charged to the family.
2. Children who need a long-term foster care placement, and who are not eligible for therapeutic foster care services, may be served in the Angels Watch Level I program. These children must be in the custody of the Department of Social Services.

“I really love to stay with my angel care parents. They play games with me, read books, and take me to the playground. My mom can’t do those things.”
