A helping hand with math, a great game of hide and seek, or a shoulder to cry on is more important to a child’s life than financial donations. When a child finds himself in one of the CARING’s programs it usually means that his/her home life hasn’t been so great. And sometimes a connection with an objective ear can make a world of difference...

For more information on how you can help the children of Buncombe County, please call the CARING for Children office at 828 298-0186 and speak with our volunteer coordinator.

“As a past member of the Board of Directors, I can look back over the years and I am amazed at how many children's lives we made better. I can’t think of a better way to spend my time than helping our children in need.”
Scott Smith, Business owner, Asheville NC
